Overview
What underground sewer repair actually means
Trenchless is the right solution for many failing sewer lines, but not all. Fully collapsed runs, severe back-pitch, or compromised connections can require open excavation. When that is necessary, we plan the dig carefully by locating utilities, minimizing trench footprint, and protecting nearby surfaces.
We coordinate any required permits and city sewer connection work, and we restore the surface cleanly when the pipe is back in service.
If trenchless is a viable option, we will tell you. If it isn't, we will tell you that too — and we will explain why.
What's included
- Pre-dig utility locate and trench planning
- Smallest practical excavation footprint
- Permitting and city sewer connection coordination
- Clean surface restoration after the work is complete
- Camera verification of the finished line
How the work goes
Diagnose & plan
Camera inspection plus surface locates so we know exactly where to dig and what utilities are in the way.
Permits & coordination
We pull the required permits and coordinate with the city for any connection or right-of-way work.
Excavate with care
We open the smallest practical trench, protect surrounding surfaces, and replace the failed pipe section.
Backfill & restore
Proper bedding, compaction, and surface restoration so the repair is as clean as the surrounding area.
Final camera & sign-off
Post-repair camera pass and any required city inspection sign-off.
Ideal for
- Fully collapsed or severely back-pitched sewer lines
- Properties with damaged city sewer connections
- Repairs requiring permitting and inspection
- Sites where trenchless rehabilitation has been ruled out by camera
