CIPP Pipe Lining

CIPP pipe lining for lines that qualify after camera inspection.

CIPP installs a structural liner inside the existing pipe to seal cracks, root intrusion paths, and corrosion while avoiding major excavation where conditions allow.

Overview

What cipp pipe lining actually means

Cured-in-place pipe lining (CIPP) is a trenchless rehabilitation method where a resin-saturated liner is installed inside the existing pipe and cured in place to create a new structural inner wall. The result is a continuous, jointless pipe that can seal leaks, reduce root intrusion paths, and restore flow.

For older homes in Westchester, Mar Vista, Venice, and Manhattan Beach where original cast iron or clay sewer laterals are now decades old, CIPP is often the most practical way to extend the life of the line without tearing out finished hardscape, mature trees, or paved driveways.

We size each project based on what the camera shows. CIPP is the right call for some lines and the wrong call for others — we will tell you which.

What's included

  • Structural sewer rehabilitation through small access points
  • Seals cracks, hairline fractures, and root intrusion paths
  • Compatible with most cast iron, clay, and ABS lateral lines
  • Long design life when installed on a properly prepped host pipe
  • Camera-verified before and after every install

How the work goes

  1. Diagnosis with sewer camera

We confirm CIPP is the right method for your line, document the failure points on video, and measure the run.

  2. Hydro-jet cleaning

The host pipe is cleaned to bare pipe so the resin bonds correctly. This step is non-negotiable for a long-lasting liner.

  3. Liner install & cure

A resin-saturated liner is inverted or pulled into place and cured to form the new structural pipe inside the old one.

  4. Reinstate connections

Branch lines and cleanouts are reopened so flow is restored to every fixture.

  5. Final camera & report

A second CCTV pass verifies the finished installation — useful documentation for owners, HOAs, and real estate transactions.

Ideal for

  • Older homes with deteriorated cast iron or clay sewer laterals
  • Apartment buildings with shared mainlines under parking or paving
  • HOA and condo communities looking to phase pipe rehabilitation
  • Commercial buildings that need to keep operating during repairs

Common questions

Common questions about cipp pipe lining

How is CIPP lining different from full sewer replacement?

Full replacement removes the original pipe, while CIPP creates a new structural pipe inside the existing line. CIPP is usually the better fit when the host pipe can support a liner and alignment is still workable. We use camera findings to show whether lining is viable or excavation is the better long-term option.

How long does a CIPP liner last?

A properly installed CIPP liner is generally designed for about 50 years of service life. Actual longevity depends on host-pipe condition, cleaning and prep quality, resin system, and cure quality. We confirm eligibility on camera and document prep requirements before installation.

What does 'trenchless sewer repair' actually mean?

Trenchless sewer repair means rehabilitating or replacing a sewer line through compact access points instead of long open trenches. The right method depends on what the camera shows, usually CIPP lining, spot repair, or pipe bursting. The next step is a CCTV inspection so you can compare written options before any work starts.

Do you pull the permits and coordinate with the city?

Yes, when permits or city sewer connection coordination are required, we handle that process. Requirements vary by city, scope, and connection type, so not every job has the same permitting path. We list permit responsibilities and expected city-related fees in the written scope before starting.
