Hydro Jetting

Hydro jetting that clears buildup and verifies results on camera.

High-pressure water jetting clears grease, scale, roots, and debris from drain and sewer lines. We size pressure and nozzle to the line condition, then confirm results with CCTV.

Overview

What hydro jetting actually means

Hydro jetting uses controlled high-pressure water through a nozzle matched to pipe diameter and blockage type to scour the interior of a drain or sewer line. Done correctly, it removes grease, soft scale, root mass, and debris beyond a single punch-through path.

We use jetting to clear active backups, prep cast iron and lateral lines for CIPP, and as a maintenance tool for restaurants, apartment buildings, and commercial kitchens that load their lines with grease and food solids.

Every jetting job ends with a camera pass so you can see what was actually cleared. If the underlying line is broken, scaled beyond cleaning, or root-bound, you will know.

What's included

  • Nozzle and pressure matched to the pipe diameter and blockage type
  • Effective on grease, soft scale, root intrusion, and debris
  • Scheduled maintenance available for commercial and multifamily clients
  • Camera verification after every jetting session
  • Safe for properly installed cast iron, ABS, PVC, and clay lines

How the work goes

  1. Pre-jet camera (when needed)

If we have not seen the line before, we run a quick camera pass to choose the right nozzle and pressure.

  2. Jet the line

Using the appropriate jetter and nozzle, we clear the blockage and scour the pipe wall on the way back.

  3. Post-jet camera

A final camera pass shows you the cleared line and any underlying structural issues that jetting cannot fix.

  4. Maintenance plan (optional)

For commercial and multifamily clients, we set a recurring jetting cadence so chronic lines stay ahead of backups.

Ideal for

  • Restaurants and commercial kitchens with grease-loaded drains
  • Apartment buildings with recurring mainline backups
  • Property managers maintaining multi-unit drain systems
  • Homeowners with chronic root intrusion in the lateral

Common questions

Common questions about hydro jetting

Is hydro jetting safe for my pipes?

Hydro jetting is generally safe when pressure and nozzle selection are matched to a structurally sound line. Severely damaged, collapsed, or unstable sections may need a different approach before aggressive cleaning. We inspect unknown lines first so jetting settings and method are based on actual pipe condition.

How often should a commercial or apartment property be jetted?

Jetting frequency depends on line use, blockage history, and what inspection footage shows. Grease-heavy commercial lines may need more frequent service, while some multifamily mains are stable on longer intervals. We recommend a maintenance cadence based on building-specific evidence, then adjust it using follow-up results.

What does 'trenchless sewer repair' actually mean?

Trenchless sewer repair means rehabilitating or replacing a sewer line through compact access points instead of long open trenches. The right method depends on what the camera shows, usually CIPP lining, spot repair, or pipe bursting. The next step is a CCTV inspection so you can compare written options before any work starts.
